Ahhh, finally a ref for the newer version of Shiva! I still like the quad version's design (here - [link] ), but again, the anthro version is what's actually canon. Tried to keep this ref simple like the last one I did for Second Iteration. :>

Some other notes that I didn't really fit in here:
-Extremely (extremely) old ref for malacynes can be found here: [link] It's pretty outdated, but you get the gist anyway.
-More or less past tense, as by the time present time rolls around she has already been destroyed. Her destruction killed off most the the unfortunate sions connected to her, but those that did survive become the wirehound type. ( [link] [link] ) She also...killed off a lot of sions just by existing. 8T;;
-Its not very clear if she followed the Three laws of Robotics (or, for that matter, if any robots that are built on Atrium do). If she did, it's likely that she was only programmed for Three Laws towards all the sentient species living in the Reality Plane; since sions are not part of this group it would create a loophole for her to do what she wanted to them. However, she was defeated by Non-Sions and DID put up a fight, so it's possible that she didn't have Three laws. If she did, either a) it became corrupted data, or b) she did try to disobey, creating a large number of processes insider herself that ran against each other, and would slow her down enough to be fought at normal speed against non-sions instead of computer-speed. At any rate, she was a bad dude. 8U

Finally a ref for the new Shiva!! I've been waiting for this forever, if only to have it up instead of her old version. This has been said several times before, but her new design is SO GOOD compared to the other, which was neither convincing nor menacing. :x
This Shiva I simply adore. She's cute yet fiendish-looking at the same time, with her crooked ears, cables, and general SASSY demeanor. Sass is always important in a villain! Her concept is great also: an experimental synthetic animal that thought she could turn around and be the owner. Very nice idea, and it works well in the timeline and all the Sions who contrast her. Have you ever drawn a picture of Shiva plugged into the Ahveph networks? That would be pretty badass-- someday you should give it a shot!
What are her movements like? I always imagined that she moved like a clunky and occasionally buggy machine, creating this eerie mix of organic and robotic. Like... people see her and expect her to move like a real thing, but she turns at stiff angles and freezes a lot. CREEPY HEADCANONS, do excuse me.
Nice job on this ref overall, Ghost! It's not exactly flashy, but it's helpful and gets the information across very well. I love the thick-lined style, too. And them dresses yesssss~
